Most trial-matching tools return a score. A score hides the one thing a family needs: which line of the eligibility list is the problem, and whether anybody actually knows. Trial0 walks the published criteria and labels each one — and where the registry text cannot settle it, the honest answer is unknown, flagged for the study site to confirm.

Unknowns stay unknown
Free-text criteria cannot be decided by software. A biomarker found in the criteria text is a signpost to verify with the site — never a verdict. Anything the registry doesn't publish comes back as unknown, not a guess.

Is it really free?
Yes. Searching, per-criterion matching and the email alerts are $0 with no account and no card. Pro is US$49 / £49 per month and only buys the research-and-outreach help; it is never required to see a match.
Do I have to create an account?
No. An email address is enough to subscribe and to save what you tell us about the patient. An account is only useful if you want the same profile on several devices or you go on to use Pro.
Where do the trials come from?
ClinicalTrials.gov, queried live at the moment you search — every result links back to the exact registry query that produced it, with the time it ran. ISRCTN records are ingested on a scheduled import. Nothing is hand-curated, so nothing goes quietly out of date.
Can Trial0 tell me whether I'm eligible?
No, and it will not pretend to. It reports each published criterion as matched, not matched, or unknown, and unknown is common because most eligibility criteria are free text written for clinicians. Only the trial site can decide eligibility.
My condition is rare and isn't in your list. Does it still work?
Yes — type it exactly as it appears in the medical record. The condition list on this page only exists because those areas have suggested stages and biomarkers; the search itself is free text against the whole registry.
What happens when I press "Get access"?
Pro researches who to contact at that specific study and what the referral requires, then drafts the outreach and shows it to you. Nothing is sent to a study team until you approve that exact message.
What do you do with my email address?
It is used to send the alerts you asked for and nothing else — Trial0 does not sell data and takes no payment from sponsors, sites or providers. Reply STOP to any alert to unsubscribe.
How often will you email me?
Only when the registry actually produces something new for your condition, plus one confirmation at signup and at most two reminders if we still don't know enough about the patient. There is no newsletter.
